Self-Catering

All Cottages have a fully equipped kitchen to cater for all your needs. They have an oven and hob, a microwave, fridge with ice box and cooking utensils and equipment.

They all have a television with a DVD player and  you are more than welcome to borrow DVDs from us if you wish.

There is a shared laundry which runs on an ”honesty” basis which has both washing machine and tumble dryers.

There are many local places to get groceries, the village of Aspatria has the closest convenience stores, which include a co-op that is always open late, even if you are arriving on a Sunday. Cockermouth has a Sainsburys, an Aldi and many local butchers and grocery shops. We spent many years traveling to the lakes before we moved here and know that sometimes the traffic can be very slow, so if you want us to pop out and get some provisions for you for when you arrive just let us know and we will do our best to get what you want.

We do not have a reception area but we hold an open door policy so if you have any enquiries just pop up to the farm house and we will do our utmost to assist you. If you chose to holiday with us then we will let you know how you can obtain the key to your property.
